As architects working on low energy and passive house projects we are very conscious of the impact of our design choices on the climate. Leaking refrigerants are a major contributor to climate change. For us, having the ability to specify a hot water heat pump which uses a benign refrigerant like CO2 is fantastic.
Haven’t needed to touch it, it just performs. Power bill for hot water heating seems to be cost effective.

Was very impressed with how quick it got up to 63 degrees and started to push the water back to the cylinder.

I can say it makes no sound that we’ve ever heard and it is just outside our bedroom. We have 2 adults and 3 children in the home and often have several baths in a day, multiple loads of warm washing and endless dishes and we’ve never come close to running out of hot water.
